These Terms and Conditions shall apply to all contracts entered into by Almaz Jewellery Ltd (company no. 15526646) trading as Tantalus Rings ("we" or "us"). The Almaz Jewellery is a limited company incorporated under the laws of the United Kingdom.
By using the website you agree to be legally bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all the following terms please do not access and/or use the website.
Legal Governance
When you use our website or make a purchase from Almaz Jewellery LTD ("Tantalus Rings"), your contract with us is governed by the laws of England and Wales. If there are any legal disputes, they must be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid or can’t be enforced, it won’t affect the rest of the terms – those will still remain in full effect.

“Almaz Jewellery LTD” (t/a “Tantalus Rings”) works to keep the site up to date but cannot guarantee that this site and its contents are completely free of technical errors. By using this site, you acknowledge that you assume full responsibility for all costs associated with all necessary servicing or repairs of any equipment you use in connection with this site. We are also not liable for any damages associated with use of this site however caused. If you are not satisfied with the site, then please email us with your comments. As part of our service, we agree to provide the customer with information and other services that we may decide to offer, subject to the terms of this agreement. The customer agrees and continues to agree to use our services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in the policies and guidelines outlined below. Please note that you will be referred to as 'customer' in this agreement.

Limitation of Liability and Warranty.
The customer agrees that use of the service is entirely at the customer’s own risk. Services are provided 'as is,' without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty for information, services, uninterrupted access, or products provided through or in connection with the service, including without limitation the software licensed to the customer and the results obtained through the service. Specifically, we disclaim any and all warranties, including without limitation:

Neither the service nor any of its agents, affiliates or content providers shall be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of use of the service or inability to gain access to or use the service or out of any breach of any warranty. The customer hereby acknowledges that the provisions of this section shall apply to all content on the service.
We are not responsible for any damage or injury caused by the jewellery to the customer, the customer’s property, or any other person and/or their own property. When the customer buys a piece of jewellery from us, the customer is entering a contract that states the customer is entirely responsible for the jewellery thereon out.

We take your privacy very seriously. Below we outline how we collect and use your data, and give you information about your rights.
Who are we?
Almaz Jewellery LTD (t/a"Tantalus Rings") is a jewellery manufacturer and retailer based in the UK with a registered address of 100 Hatton Garden, London Diamond Bourse, London, EC1N 8NX. How do we collect your information?
When you place an order online, in person (e.g. at or our studio premises in Hatton Graden in or Colchester) or by phone, we will gather all the information we need to process your order. This may include: name, email, postal address, billing address, card number or other payment method details (e.g. PayPal address), contact phone number. For online orders we also capture your IP address for fraud check purposes only. When you first place an order online you will also be given the option to opt in for email marketing. We will not send you email marketing unless you tick the box to ask us to, or unless you have asked us to previously. You can opt out of email marketing at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email, or by contacting us at info@tantalusrings.co.uk.
As with all sensitive data we keep all of these details securely in our systems. At Almaz Jewellery LTD (t/a “Tantalus Rings”) we do not keep a record of your credit card details.

What do we do with your data?
We use the data you provide to us to fulfil our contract with you: we use your delivery address to know where to send your order; we use your email address and mobile phone number to update you about your order status.
When you opt in to receive marketing from us.
We use any data you provide to us (at any time) as way to send you marketing emails for new products, updates and invitations to events. If you have not made a transaction with us, but you have opted in to receive marketing by email or any other method the legal basis for processing is called 'consent'.
We will keep personal data unless you tell us you no longer wish to receive marketing from us, in which case we will remove your opt-in, and keep only transactional data from those who have purchased from us.

Right to complain with a supervisory authority:
If you consider Almaz Jewellery LTD (t/a “Tantalus Rings”) to process your personal data in an incorrect way you can contact us. You also have the right to raise a complaint to a supervisory authority.
Updates to our Privacy Notice:
We may need to update our Privacy Notice. The latest version of the Privacy Notice is always available on our website. We will communicate any material changes to the Privacy Notice, for example the purpose of why we use your personal data, the identity of the Controller or your rights.
Our Privacy Policy
Exchange policy.
Our exchange policy is 14 calendar days for the UK orders and 28 calendar days for international orders. Our exchange/resize service is complementary. We are asking to cover the return postage to our workshop and also the return postage back to our clients home address as well as store handling fees, which is £12.50 for the UK orders and £20.00 for the international orders. our non-personalised item(s) must be returned to us in an unworn, new condition, including the original packaging (ring box and the pouch).
Refund Policy.
Non - personalised items.
If the item you have purchased is not personalised to your requirements, we can accept your item for the refund or exchange within 14 days. Please contact us prior to returning your item to obtain the return instructions. Your non-personalised item(s) must be returned to us in an unworn, new condition, including the original packaging (ring box and the pouch). Please note that postage fees will be deducted from all unwanted returned goods.
Personalised items.
Personalised items would include: engraved items, special design items, items with personalised width, size, depth and other dimensions characteristics. Such items are custom orders and therefore, can not be refunded. If you purchased your personalised ring but chose the wrong size, please get in touch with our production team. In some cases we might be able to correct the size at the additional fee, subject to ring design and the new required size. Please note that all our diamond rings are made-to-order, therefore diamond set rings are not refundable.
Precious metal and diamond rings.
All our rings/items incorporated with precious metals and/or diamond rings are made-to-order and classify as "personalised items". This term covers all our rings made of gold, platinum, palladium, tantalum and gold rings, tantalum and palladium rings, carbon fibre and palladium rings, diamond set wedding rings. Such rings/items are made-to-order (specially made according to a customer's specifications) and therefore are not refundable.
Deposits.
Deposits are not refundable. In some cases to secure your jewellery order we will be asking for a deposit. This is particularly relevant for made-to-order or personalised jewellery pieces where monetary deposit is required to purchase materials (metal, diamonds, gemstones) and cover the administration fees for liaising with CAD designers, production team, stone setters, engraving team, etc. In the event of order cancellation deposits are not refundable and will be used to cover the aforementioned expenses incurred.
Sizing kit service.
Our sizing kit service is available for in-store orders only. This service is complimentary for our tantalum rings as well as carbon fibre and titanium/tantalum rings. We are offering chargeable sizing service for our titanium, plain carbon fibre and stainless steel rings. In the event of order cancellation, our sizing kit service is not refundable. For clarification: sizing kit service is provided to confirm the preferred finger size and the cost of the service covers the delivery postage to the client, delivery back to our workshop and the cost of packaging.
Defective or damaged items.
We are offering 5 years manufacturing warranty on all our orders. This type of warranty does not cover the jewellery misuse, including accidental or deliberate damage.
All our orders are going through the strict quality control. As a small family run business we treat all our orders with a great care. In the event if you should receive an item that is defective, damaged or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible (within 14 days after the delivery date). We will help you resolve any issues as quickly as possible by assessing the type of defect or damage.
The manufacturing fault items. We will be replacing the item, delivering another item by way of an exchange or repairing the item. The faulty item will need to be returned to us before we are able to post out your new item.
Please note that we will not be able to offer exchange or refund for the items that have been damaged in any way (accidentally or deliberately) while in client’s possession. Such items will need to be assessed for the chargeable repair quote by our company.
